Our ISO Tracker can prepare fire departments to provide all the critical details needed for the training component of an ISO audit. Training makes up 10% of an ISO score. As such, it's critical to document all training completed at the fire department to produce accurate reports.
There are several components of our ISO solution. From tracking instructor-led training and activities in the field, to documenting recorded hours for our online courses, our solution helps maximize credit.
The ISO tracker consists of:
- External training tracker - captures all relevant details of training including data and time, location, training description, credit hours and the ISO section(s) the training applies towards. Administrators can easily create reusable training entries that can be used over and over to simplify the documentation process. You can learn more about this feature on our article External Training - How to Guide.
- Code manager - create sets of codes that can be applied to training using the external training tracker
- Learning Plans - our ISO solutions works with a Credit Routing learning plans. System templates for each ISO code have been set up and are available for use. We introduced a smart 'credit routing' feature to automatically allocate training hours where they're most needed. So, once certain categories are completed, training hours can flow into the next area the training is coded for accordingly. And, training hours can be split across categories once requirements are met.
- FireRescue1 Academy training - our courses are pre-coded with appropriate ISO training types and categories
- Two new ISO reports - an ISO summary report that helps identify any gaps in required training per ISO section, and an ISO Assigned Completions report which provides a detailed breakdown of all training and activities marked with ISO codes per firefighter.
This video covers how to set up and use the ISO Tracker. Preparing for an ISO audit has never been easier!
