FAQ: Single Video Course Retirements
Q: How will I know which single video courses are being retired, and when will this take effect?
A: We’ll notify all administrators via email in late June about the retirement of single video courses. These courses will be retired on 7/28/2025, and two weeks prior to retirement, a banner will appear in the LMS.
Q: Can I still access a single video course after it’s retired?
A: No, once a single video course is retired, it will no longer be available in the LMS. However, our support team can assist you in identifying alternative content.
Q: How can I find replacement content for retired single video courses?
A: Lexipol will not have a one-to-one replacement for single video course content; however, the training team is developing new single video content quarterly, so be sure to check for new single video courses.
Q: What if I've already assigned single video courses in a learning plan?
A: You'll need to manually replace retired single video courses with suggested alternatives. Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) can help facilitate this process.
Q: Can I finish a single video course that I’ve partially completed before it’s retired?
A: Yes, you have until 7/28/2025 to complete any in-progress single video courses. After this date, incomplete courses will no longer be accessible.
Q: How do the replacement courses compare to the retired single video courses?
A: Lexipol will not be replacing single video courses with direct alternatives; however, new single video course content will be developed each quarter.
Q: Will retiring single video courses impact accreditation or state reporting requirements?
A: No, these single video courses are not accredited. Their retirement will not affect accreditation status or state reporting requirements.
Q: Will more courses be retired in the future?
A: To ensure our content remains relevant and high-quality, we periodically review and retire courses. We will continue to communicate clearly regarding any future changes.
