Course Taking 

How do I get started taking courses for Peer Support Certification? 

When you log in, you will either be taken directly to the Peer Certification Program Page or the list of the different programs available to you.  Once you navigate to the program page, click “Enroll” and you can then start taking courses. 

Why do I need to take Peer Support Certification courses in a specific order? 

Courses build on each other and must be taken in the prescribed order to properly learn the material.   

When I complete a Peer Support Certification Course, will I get a certificate? 

Yes.  You will receive an email with a link to a course completion certificate.  You may also view all of your certificates under My Dashboard -> Certificates.  

When I complete all required courses for Peer Support Certification will I get a certificate? 

Yes, you will receive an email with a link to a certificate.  You may also view your certification certificate under My Dashboard -> Credentials. 

What are the system requirements for taking courses?

Peer Support Membership 

I only want access to 1 or 2 courses, not all 12 courses. Can I just purchase the courses I want?  

No. The Cordico Training and Certification Peer Support Membership is designed to ensure that peer support personnel have access to certification, advanced training, webinars with subject matter experts, and a toolkit of resources. These offers are exclusive to members. 

Can more than one user use the account?   

Our memberships are for individual users and within an organization, they must be registered with the account administrator.   

Is this program certified through POST or any other professional organizations?   

Lexipol is currently certified or accepted in 44 states.   

At present, we have submitted our PS Core Curriculum to receive POST approval in the following 19 states:   

Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas  

Lexipol is accepted for continuing education credits in 25 states.  

This means that users can complete the courses and they can be used toward their renewal requirements with department level approval. We do not submit any of our courses to these states for review. We do not report course completions to any of these states, they must self-report if they take any courses. We have also submitted for approval with CAPCE (fire and EMS). If you need to have the CTC Peer Support Certification Program approved through another entity, please contact us and we will work with your organization to achieve approval.    

Does our CTC Peer Support Training and Certification cover CISM and/or CISD?  

CISM constitutes several crisis intervention strategies that cover mitigation of a traumatic event, normalizing responses and recovery, restoring functioning, and identifying and connecting individuals with additional resources. Our program does cover all of these areas and more.  CISD is a specific post-incident debriefing model that we do not teach.   

What does the Membership cost?  

The annual membership costs $399 per learner

I am an individual and have changed my mind about taking Peer Support Certification.  How can I get a refund? 

If you have not completed any courses, you may email us at customersupport@lexipol.com to request a refund. 

Organization Admins 

How can I track my employees’ progress through the Peer Support Certification Program? 

Go to Admin -> Assignments and Programs-> View Member Progress 

Can I assign courses to my employees? 

No.  Currently employees self-assign themselves to a program when they start.  You are able to track their progress through the program through View Member Progress as described above. 

If we also have a subscription to another Lexipol Learning site (i.e. PoliceOne, FireRescue1,etc) can I see completions for Cordico Training and Certification in my Members Report? 

Yes 

How do I add members to my organization on the Cordico Training and Certification Site? 

Go to Admin -> Members-> Add Members
